A credentialed human-evaluation workforce is AI-safety infrastructure.
The hardest problems in AI safety aren't solved in model weights alone — they're solved by people. Humans calibrate reward models, red-team for harms, fact-check outputs, and judge whether an agent actually did what it claimed to do. The quality of that human judgement is a load-bearing part of whether AI stays honest.
But today that workforce is largely invisible and unverified. Anyone can claim they evaluate AI; almost no one can prove they're good at it. D'accord makes the skill of careful human evaluation legible — evidenced, credentialed, accountable. A field that can vouch for its own evaluators is a field that can be trusted to keep AI in check.
So — no blue-pill comfort here. Just the unglamorous, essential work of holding AI to account, done by people whose competence you can actually verify.
